Together, they travel through the forest sharing, helping, and always following Papa’s glowing light. But when his light suddenly goes out, the story tenderly explores how love continues even when someone we cherish is no longer physically present.
Just Follow My Light contains vivid illustrations and reminds young readers that the people we love never truly leave us when we carry their light in our hearts and keep spreading it to others. It was written by Kate Lange, a Dubuque resident and school counselor, for children and families to help them find a bit of comfort, hope, and peace as they celebrate the lives and the light of those who have gone before them.
