British wine critic Michael Broadbent once said, “Drinking good wine with good food in good company is one of life’s most civilized pleasures.” These words could not be more fitting for Dyersville’s hometown winery where delicious food and fabulous wine are served offering a place families and friends can gather to celebrate life’s momentous occasions or simple time together, reflecting on all that is O So Good.
O So Good Winery’s inception came out of couple Lee and Karie Ostwinkle’s love of visiting local wineries and enjoying the atmosphere, as well as the wine. Through their weekend outings, they were inspired to start making their own vino from the comfort of their own home. This hobby showed potential to become a business for the couple, and things took off from there.
In the last year of producing and bottling wine from their home, the couple produced 40,000 bottles! They realized their house was literally going to crumble under the weight of the wine if they continued producing it in their home, so they relocated to their current location just off Highway 20 in Dyersville.
