It is nice to end a summer’s day with a glass of wine. That is just what TeamWine did when we assembled one evening at EJ’s Wine Shop to taste this month’s wines. We each brought our respected appetizer, and I brought the wine. Since Aldi’s has added a second store in Dubuque, I figured it was time to put their wines in front of TeamWine to see what they thought. To be fair, the bottles were in cloth bags, to forestall any possible bias. I, of course, knew what the wines were, but I had not tasted either one. So, this was an adventure for all of us. And, as you’ll read, a pleasant one for all concerned. We hope for you as well!
