Studebaker Drivers Club Meet to be Held June 25-29

The Iowa Hawkeye Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club will host the 60th Annual Studebaker Drivers Club International Meet on June 25-29, 2024, with over 400 Studebaker and related vehicles at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds. With more than 8,000 members worldwide, this event is expected to bring Studebaker enthusiasts from every state in the county as well as Canada, Australia, and Norway.

“All of us at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds and Event Center are excited to host the 60th International Meet of the Studebaker Drivers Club,” said fairgrounds general manager, Kevin Kotz. “We hope people take advantage of the opportunity to look at these American made classics on Saturday, June 29, and we look forward to seeing the Studebakers on our streets, restaurants, and tourist attractions while they are in town.” The event is open to the public Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 9 AM to 3 PM with an ‘all makes welcome’ Cruise-In at the Fairgrounds joining the Studebakers on display.

There will be a viewing of ‘The Muppet Movie’ and a speaker from the Studebaker National Museum talking about the restoration of the 1951 Studebaker Bulletnose movie car used in the 1979 release of The Muppet Movie. The car was modified so it could be driven from the trunk while the puppeteers worked Fozzie, Kermit, and others from the floor. The cost to attend Saturday’s events is $5 per person. From June 25 – 28, 2024, the event is limited to members of the Studebaker Drivers Club, the Antique Studebaker Club, and the Avanti Owners Association International.

Studebaker and related vehicles will be on display daily, along with a large swap meet, concourse judging, watches, toys, memorabilia displays and judging, and several seminars. All details are on Sdcmeet.com.
