Dubuque and Jackson County Habitat for Humanity announced the opening of the first-ever ReStore location in Dubuque. The ReStore offers a sustainable way to improve your home, donate building materials and appliances, and support the mission to build affordable homes in Dubuque and Jackson County.
Volunteers have donated thousands of hours to stock the ReStore with quality items and building materials. The unique finds at the ReStore are donated by individuals, local businesses, designers, and contractors eager to support efforts to divert usable items from landfills and create sustainable options to improve homes.
Shoppers looking for a great deal are also supporting a great cause. For 32 years, Dubuque and Jackson County Habitat for Humanity volunteers have worked alongside families to create better housing opportunities. Proceeds from ReStore sales will support home building and repair projects for income-eligible households in both counties.
