Do you ever feel like sitting outside in the sunshine and having a refreshing glass of locally made wine? You can do that and more at Stone Cliff Winery.
Located in the historic Star Brewery building, Stone Cliff produces all of their wine on-site. They serve a variety of mostly sweet wines, with a couple on the drier side for balance. With catchy names like Purple Cow (a grape-flavored dessert wine) and Red Fox (a semi-sweet red wine with hints of currents), it’s a fun way to spend a leisurely afternoon – sipping and learning about wine and chatting with friends.
In addition to creating, bottling, and serving wine, Stone Cliff also offers a delicious selection of dining options. The lunch menu features flatbread pizzas, a wide array of hot and cold sandwiches, a soup of the day, and several entrée-sized salads. My go-to for lunch is the Mediterranean salad, which consists of fresh greens topped with cucumber, tomato, onion, olives, and feta cheese. And if I’m extra hungry I always order the soup of the day made fresh from scratch by Chef Molly. The sandwich choices range from a simple BLT to a turkey and cranberry panini. There’s an option for everyone on this menu.
