Northwest Illinois Economic Development (NWILED) is excited to announce the 4th annual Build It Grow It Entrepreneurial Scholarship. All high school seniors in Jo Daviess and Carroll Counties who are interested in becoming an entrepreneur or starting a business are encouraged to apply for a $1,000.00 scholarship. The package also includes an opportunity to meet with a NWILED representative to learn about self-employment and entrepreneurship. The award winner will also be invited to the NWILED Annual Banquet in the fall.
Students shall be full-time and in good academic standing in the qualifying school year (2020 – 2021). This is not a need-based scholarship. The scholarship can be used for a community college, technical college, a college or university, or start-up costs for business planning.
