It has long been known that interior design – the spaces in which we spend our time – has a direct correlation to our physical, mental, and emotional health. The basic principles of feng shui, originating from ancient China, strive to create balance with the natural world in our interior spaces. It uses energy forces to create harmony between an individual and their environment.
Because everyone is unique, there is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach to creating your healthy space. There are some basic, foundational principles that can help you get started in the right direction, though. Consider how we can use ideas from feng shui combined with our human senses to create a space that will be healthy, inviting, and productive.
