Tai Chi at Shalom – Mondays, May 1-29
Tai Chi uses breathing and relaxation techniques to loosen up our bodies, removing stress and allowing energy to flow. It has been shown to improve flexibility, blood circulation, and sleep quality. Tai Chi is low impact and generally safe for any age or athletic ability. Join the beginner class on Mondays from 6:30 PM-7:30 PM; first class is free.

Yoga with Deb May – Tuesday, May 9 @ 4:30 PM-5:30 PM
Deb May is owner of YogaCare and a Yoga instructor for over 20 years. Yoga helps you relieve stress and build strength and flexibility. This class is beginner-friendly yet offers challenging poses while allowing everyone to practice at their level. Cost is $12.50 per person; please register by Friday, May 5th.

Walking and Praying in the Labyrinth – Tuesday, May 9, 5:45 PM-6:45 PM
Come and walk the labyrinth, which is a sacred journey of prayer. This is a silent, prayerful practice suitable for older teens and adults. Freewill offering: RSVP by Monday, May 8th.

Day of Self-Renewal – Friday, May 12 @ 9 AM-4:30 PM
This day just for you will begin with a group guided meditation and offers your choice of relaxation services, a private guest room, delicious lunch, and access to our chapel, grounds, and labyrinth. Enjoy a quiet reading space, nap in your private room, or enjoy peaceful prayer time in the chapel. Cost is $95 per person; please register by Friday, May 5th. There is a $40 non-refundable deposit required.

Meditation and Music: Sound Healing – Monday, May 15 @ 6:30 PM-7:30 PM

A wonderful meditative & healing session. Cost is $10/person; please register by Friday, May 12th.

Lunch and Renew: Chair Yoga – Wednesday, May 17 @ 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
Prepare body, mind, and spirit for spring with simple poses while relieving neck, shoulder, and back tension, followed by a simple and delicious lunch! Cost is $15/person; please register by Friday, May 12th.

Legacy of Agriculture at Sinsinawa (on site) – Tuesday, May 16 @ 6 PM-7 PM
Farming has been a way of life at the Mound since 1847 when Father Samuel Mazzuchelli founded the order of Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa. This talk will walk you through the past legacy of farming at Sinsinawa and explore where the future of farming is taking us.

Sinsinawa Mound Market (on site) – Wednesday, May 24 @ 4 PM-7 PM
Join for the first market of the season! Held at the farm at 2551 County Rd Z, Sinsinawa, WI, every fourth Wednesday through September.

Spring Forest Bathing (on site) – Thursday, May 25 @ 10 AM-12 PM & 2 PM-4 PM
Join us at the Mound for a spring Forest Bathing experience where we bathe in the good medicine of Mother Earth. Nature and Forest Therapy, also called Forest Bathing, is a slow, sensory focused walk with the land.
