Camp Courageous, a recreational and respite care facility for individuals with disabilities, is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team. Both seasonal and year-round paid positions, as well as volunteer opportunities, are available.
The camp, located five miles southeast of Monticello, IA, serves individuals with a variety of disabilities including cognitive and physical disabilities, head injuries, hearing or visual impairments, autism, and more. With unique activities such as a zipline, indoor swimming, music park, bowling alley, and adventure activities, Camp Courageous offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
Current paid positions include seasonal counselors and year-round program specialists. Separate staff housing, laundry, and meals are provided when working with campers.
