Sips & Tips: A Time for Reds

In November, it was my pleasure to attend a tasting of local wine put on by Iowa State University Oenology Department with Aude Waterlot, Assistant Professor of Enology. This event was held at Park Farm Winery in Durango. Wineries represented were Barrel Head (John Burns), PromiseLand (Pat Wachendorf), Park Farm (Dave Cushman), and Bishop Winery (Chip Bishop). While I was at Park Farm, I selected two reds that can stand up to our January weather.
