Carnegie-Stout Receives DRA Grant For New Mobile Outreach Project

On behalf of the Carnegie-Stout Public Library Foundation, the library is proud to announce the receipt of a Dubuque Racing Association (DRA) grant for a new mobile outreach project. In addition to the $7,672 DRA grant award, the Library Foundation has donated $2,558 for a total of $10,230 for the “Outreach: Programs to People” project. These funds will allow the library to purchase crafting supplies, musical instruments, technology, and other equipment necessary to provide programming throughout the Dubuque community.

In other news, effective Sept. 1, the Carnegie-Stout Public Library expanded its curbside pickup service for patron holds to be available Monday-Thursday from 9 AM-6:30 PM, Friday-Saturday from 9 AM-4:30 PM, and Sunday from 12-4:30 PM.

Curbside pickup is on the Locust Street side of the building as indicated by signage. Please have your library card and/or photo ID with you, and wait until you arrive at the curbside before calling to have your holds brought out.

The mission of the Carnegie-Stout Public Library is to improve the quality of life by providing resources for individual enjoyment, enlightenment, and knowledge, and that enhance the literacy of youth. Learn more at carnegiestout.org.
