The Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs within the City’s Economic Development Department has just released a call for community participation and engagement to share community-wide regarding Art En Route, a new public art initiative funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies. Current community engagement, being collected through March 15, 2021, includes:
- An activity / coloring sheet where any and all community members can create and submit their visions of what sidewalk murals at local bus shelters could look like;
- A survey that seeks to gather input related to use/non-use of public transit, local priorities on taking climate action, and aesthetics for the sidewalk murals to come.
