New Hires at Grand River Medical Group

Dr. Rachel Koziczkowski joined Grand River Medical Group (GRMG) from a dermatology practice in Missouri. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, IA and received her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. After graduating from Southern Illinois University, Dr. Koziczkowski completed her Dermatology residency program at the Marshfield Clinic and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI.

Dr. Koziczkowski is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and will be practicing at GRMG Dermatology & Allergy Clinic located at 3405 Lake Ridge Drive.

Along with general dermatology, skin cancer treatment, and surgical dermatology, Dr. Koziczkowski is also certified in platelet rich plasma (PRP), a procedure primarily used for hair loss and facial rejuvenation. She will also be providing microneedling service for facial rejuvenation. GRMG is excited to offer these new services along with increased access for patients with skin related illnesses.

Dr. Jason Ellis joined GRMG from Cedar Rapids where he was an attending faculty at Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation; teaching new doctors full spectrum family medicine, which included caring for patients of all ages and illness in the hospital and in the outpatient clinic.

Dr. Ellis completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Mount Mercy College and received his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation he completed his residency program at Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation where he later became the Director of Resident and Medical Student Education.

Dr. Ellis is board certified in family medicine and will also be practicing at GRMG’s Family Medicine Clinic one day a week.

Dr. Andrew Bland joins GRMG from Illinois where he was an Associate Professor of Clinic Medicine and Pediatrics. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria and completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is board certified in general pediatrics, internal medicine and nephrology. Dr. Bland most recently traveled to New York to assist the care team at NYU Langone, in Brooklyn, New York treating COVID-19 patients on the nephrology service.

With the addition of Dr. Bland GRMG’s team will be able to provide additional services within the tri-state area at our Nephrology & Hypertension Clinic in Dubuque, IA and their nephrology outreach clinics in Manchester and Clinton, IA.

Dr. Brad Willenbring joins GRMG from Michigan where he completed his family medicine residency program. Dr. Willenbring grew up in Dubuque, IA and attended Hempstead High School. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Iowa and received his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating from Des Moines University, he joined the United States Army completing a one-year internship in Tacoma, Washington prior to starting as a general practitioner in Alaska where he practiced for four years providing primary care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Willenbring will be practicing at GRMG’s Family Medicine Clinic located at 320 N. Grandview Ave.
