April 19-25 is National Volunteer Week. Hospice of Dubuque would like to give a big THANK YOU to our very own hospice volunteers.
Hospice volunteers are compassionate individuals who willingly donate their time and talents in many ways. Our volunteers serve in many capacities including helping in the office, working at fundraising events, participating on the board of directors, performing maintenance duties, crocheting Afghans, and providing companionship to our patients and respite for their families.
Our volunteers often say, “By helping others, I receive so much more in return.” It takes a special person to become a hospice volunteer and we are extremely grateful to ours. We couldn’t do it without them. Thank you Hospice of Dubuque Volunteers!
