The warm weather is finally upon us; thus, we are in official “summer gatherings” mode. We look forward to the scheduled barbecue or pool party over the summer, but what about the impromptu invitation, “Hey, want to stop by for a drink on the deck?” Well, if you’re like me, you hate to show up anywhere without something to eat and drink. Okay, it’s the chef in me and the hospitality in us both, but it is always nice to bring something when you are invited to another’s home. And when you are invited somewhere, a bag of chips and jarred salsa just isn’t going to cut it. Therefore, we introduce you to the world of galettes.
