Grand Opera House Receives $5,000 Iowa Tourism Grant

The Grand Opera House was the recipient of a $5,000 Iowa Tourism Grant to be used for an Expanded Marketing program. This project will expand the reach of the Grand Opera House’s current marketing and encourage more groups, families, and individuals from beyond a 50-mile radius of Dubuque to attend performances at the Grand.

The purpose of the Iowa Tourism Grant Program is to promote tourism in Iowa by funding tourism-related marketing initiatives, meetings, and events that benefit both local economies around the state and the state’s economy. The Administrative rules that govern the program are in Iowa Administrative Code 261.42.

The $5,000 grant awarded to the Grand Opera will significantly increase the reach and impact of the Grand Opera House marketing strategy. The Grand Opera House gratefully acknowledges the Iowa Tourism Office for a commitment to improving the quality of life in our community.

Information on upcoming Grand events is available at TheGrandOperaHouse.com or by calling the Box Office, (563) 588-1305.
