New Arrivals at Medical Associates

Amy Winsky, M.D.

Medical Associates is pleased to announce the arrival of Amy Winsky, M.D., to our Internal Medicine Department. Dr. Winsky is a member of the American College of Physicians. She will provide services to patients needing diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and conditions related to the internal organs and systems of the body.

She received her medical degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Iowa City, IA.

Medical Associates also announces the arrival of Susan Houselog, ARNP, to our Hospitalist department. Susan is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and received her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011 from Clarke University. In her role as a Nurse Practitioner in the Hospitalist department, Susan will work closely with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff to deliver expert inpatient medical treatment. She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Tammi Noonan, ARNP, returns to the Oncology Department at Medical Associates. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Clarke University in 2015. In her role as a Nurse Practitioner in the Oncology department, Tammi will work closely with patients and physicians to deliver expert treatment of cancer and blood diseases for ages 18 years and older. Tammi has over 16 years of clinical experience in direct patient care. Prior to her return, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Associates Oncology Department from 2003-2015.

Medical Associates Clinic is pleased to announce that Thomas Ottavi, PhD, has completed extensive training to become an EMDR Certified Therapist through EMDR International Association. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma, including PTSD. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches. To date, EMDR therapy has helped millions of people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress.
