The Dubuque Farmers Market is the oldest Farmers Market in the state of Iowa, and has been located in the Upper Main District around City Hall since 1858. Today, Dubuque Farmers Market features more than 125 vendors, representing over 10,000 acres in surrounding counties. It exists to provide an open-air, outdoor market in downtown Dubuque for consumers to purchase a variety of local fresh food and locally crafted products directly from farmers, producers, crafters, and artisans.
