Summer Organ Concert Series – Wednesdays, Aug. 3-31, 7-8 PM
Sinsinawa Mound Center announces the return of the Summer Organ Concert series! It’s their 31st anniversary and all are welcome to attend. Organists from Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina and Texas will play the Casavant Opus 2847 in Queen of the Rosary Chapel from 7-8 PM each Wednesday evening throughout the summer. No Child Left Inside Camp – Thursday-Friday, Aug. 18-19 @ 9 AM-3 PM
Sinsinawa Mound is sponsoring a two-day summer camp designed to connect children with the living world and cultivate a sense of deep respect and wonder for one another and the Earth.

Sinsinawa Mound Farmers’ Market – Wednesday, Aug. 24 @ 4-7 PM
Join us for our summer farmer’s market! Held at our farm every fourth Wednesday through September.

SHALOM SPIRITUALITY CENTER
Shalom Spirituality Center is a non-profit organization established in 1989 and owned and operated by the Sisters of St. Francis in Dubuque, IA.

Grandparents Tea – Thursday, August 4, 9:30 – 11 AM
Celebrate the gift of grandparenthood over a cup of tea! This monthly group will meet to share prayer, stories, ideas, and unique family dynamics while musing over the joys of grand parenting! Participants will meet in the  Shalom Dining Room. Facilitator  is Lori Apel. Freewill donation; please RSVP for each monthly session.

A Day for Teachers – Tuesday, August 9 @ 9 AM-2 PM
Spend the day taking care of YOU in the form of spiritual self-care! Reenergize and renew your inner self through prayer, reflection, discussion, and a menu of choices, including a meditative journey walking the labyrinth, yoga, meditation garden, quiet time in the chapel, or a lovely walk through a glorious prairie.

Prayer Shawl Ministry – Thursday, August 11, 10 AM-Noon
In-person, Shalom Spirituality Center, with Facilitator: Mari Hammel. Mari and her mother have woven many prayers into their prayer shawl ministry, which serves in and outside the community. Mari will share and show how this ministry supports the connections with others using fabric and textiles. Newcomers to the ministry and knitting welcome! Some materials are available.

Fall Retreat: Transforming Relationships through Connection and Contemplation – Friday, August 19 at 5 PM through Sunday, August 21 at noon.
Don’t miss a special two-night retreat when chaplain and workplace communication advisor Brent Anderson, M.Div., shares proven techniques for sparking conversation, leading effective dialogue, practicing sincere listening, and managing conflict.
