The University of Dubuque has earned the 2022-2023 Military Friendly School designation and placement on the Top 10 Military Friendly Schools list as No. 3 in the Private Schools Offering Doctorate category. The University is proud to serve around 150 military-affiliated students.
UD’s commitment to service members and veterans dates back to World War II with the Navy’s V5/V12 programs and continues to the present day with a vibrant U.S. Army ROTC program. The veterans’ center, where Ernst serves as the onsite director to assist veterans in navigating the Veterans Affairs education benefits, provides veterans a seamless transition from military life to civilian college life. UD also offers specific grants for veterans and provides on-on-one veteran specific counseling.
