It’s no secret that our Tri-State area has a lot to offer us for entertainment. Festivals every weekend, Farmer’s Market, band concerts in the park – the list goes on and on.

Not surprisingly, most of our outdoor entertainment takes place between April and November. But just because the temperature drops and the snow starts piling up, it doesn’t mean that all of our entertainment options disappear. Dubuque, like many cities across the Northern states and Canada, is fortunate in that we have a unique yearly event that actually requires our particular winter conditions: the State of Iowa’s Official Snow Sculpting Event.
