October is breast cancer awareness month. In our feature section, we chose to highight progress for all cancer treatment.
Cancer screenings are as necessary as ever, but they have dropped by as much as 96% during the pandemic and cancer diagnoses have dropped nearly 50%. This means many cancers will not be found at their earliest stages, when they are most curable.
