UD’s flight and management programs are accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI), the highest standard of achievement for aviation schools worldwide. To meet AABI standards, UD’s aviation school maintains a high-caliber and current curriculum, offers qualified faculty and staff, cultivates a safe culture of flight and ground activities, and collaborates with the aviation industry to make sure that graduates have what it takes to be successful.
UD’s Aviation Department offers Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Aviation Management, Applied Aviation Technology, and Flight Operations as well as a Master in Management – Aviation Leadership, a 30-credit-hour program offered in an online, eight-week-per-course format. Graduates with an Aviation Management degree have found careers in air traffic control, airline corporate offices, and branches of the military as well as positions with airlines and airports.
