Grand River Medical Group (GRMG) was formed five years ago when three local doctors’ offices merged to improve coordination of healthcare in the community. All three offices have had a long history in the community prior to the merger in July 2016, dating back to 1955 when Dubuque Internal Medicine was founded.
The community gained increased access to pediatric care with the opening of Dubuque Pediatrics in 1981 and additional care for patients of all ages with the opening of Dubuque Family Practice in 1991. These groups built the solid foundation that Grand River Medical Group now builds upon. This foundation will continue to play an important role in Grand River Medical Group.
Over the last five years, GRMG continued to grow and increase offerings that improve the health of patients by living out their mission of providing high quality, affordable health care while prioritizing patient experience.
