That’s the message that Amy Ressler – otherwise known as Professor Agatha Bumblebone – shares with her students at Frogwarts School of Wizardry each summer.

Frogwarts is a local creativity and role-play summer camp for kids going into 3rd grade-high school. Now in its 18th year, the camp is unique in that each weeklong session is shaped by the development of an original story, dramatized in real time by campers, staff, and guest artists.

As the Artistic Director of the Great Midwestern Educational Theatre Company, the creative entity behind Frogwarts, Ressler serves as the camp’s headmistress and keeps that story in magical motion.
