Next summer, users of Dubuque’s public transit system can look forward to a new pop of color along the way.
The City of Dubuque’s Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs, in partnership with Green Dubuque, was recently awarded a $25,000 grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies as part of the national organization’s Asphalt Art Initiative. The program aims to help cities use art and design to improve street safety, revitalize public spaces, and engage their communities.
