COVID-19 – Safety #1 Priority
In this time of pandemic crisis, we’ve been challenged with delivering care in a profoundly different manner than ever before. As the disease made its way into our lives, we acted quickly and decisively to protect our patients, our care teams, and our community.
In record time, our entire team worked together to set up outdoor screening pods, outfit our providers with precious PPE, postpone non-urgent appointments and surgeries, expand our 24-hour nurse help line, and we relentlessly cleaned all our surfaces. Our facilities remained safe and our people were protected.
We moved many of our patients to virtual telehealth visits in a strong stand to help us slow the spread of the virus and preserve our resources. The care our patients have known and trusted became safely just a click away.
We worked in close partnership with other community care providers to prepare for the worst, and we asked the community to social distance, knowing that working together would help ensure we could win the fight.
