Judging by appearance only, one could conclude that Fat Tuesdays is just another neighborhood bar. Well, it is that. Lighted beer signs hang on the walls, a long bar occupies much of the space in the main room, a pool table and other games are housed in the back room. But there is also a whole lot more to discover – the food! Proof of that can be found on the wall, where quite a few awards hang. They earned Best Cajun (Best Fest) multiple years, Best Entrée and Snack (Taste of Dubuque), and Best Mac n’ Cheese at competitions.
