For the last 12 years, a “little” event has been held at the end of March in Galena: The Wine Lovers Weekend. In its 13th year, The Wine Lover’s Weekend has become one of Illinois’ largest indoor wine tastings with over 250 wines to sample. This perfect “Is it Spring yet?” pick-me-up will not disappoint even the newest of wine drinkers.
With the doors opening at 5:30 PM on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Historic Turner Hall in Galena, IL, which transforms into one big wine bar, you will be able to try everything from local to international wines, local bourbon to French Champagne with over 30 tasting stations. Reviewing last year’s line-up, there is truly something for everyone.
