The 2020 economic forecast for the City of Dubuque appears bright and sunny with several initiatives and projects either already in process or on the horizon. The Central Avenue Corridor Initiative, the Washington Neighborhood Revitalization, the sale and renovation of the Roshek Building, the continued revitalization of the Historic Millwork District, the new Port of Dubuque Apartment complex, the decision on the Five Flags Civic Center Renovation, and expansion in Dubuque’s Industrial Center West along with the City’s thriving Arts and Culture initiatives are all expected to favorably impact Dubuque’s economy in 2020.
