The Mop Shop in Elizabeth, IL provides cleaning supplies to those who self-identify as being in need in Jo Daviess County. Records show that 1,119 clients and family members have registered at The Mop Shop since it opened in August of 2014.
The Mop Shop was the brainchild of Galena residents Missy and Mindy Dalgarn. They were surprised and saddened to see the number of requests for cleaning supplies on an angel tree at a local bank in December of 2013.
