On November 13, 2019, Dubuque’s First Congregational United Church of Christ’s feeding ministry will celebrate its 25th anniversary. CAFe (Christians Activated to Feed) started humbly in 1994 with some twenty men who were residents of the now defunct Iowa Inn. Now the feeding ministry at the church on the corner of 10th and Locust Streets offers a weekly, nutritious meal to as many as 170.
