Fifteen years ago, the East Dubuque High School Booster Club, looking for a way to raise money and boost community spirit, stumbled across the perfect idea.
“People like chicken wings,” said John Digman, former Booster Club member, “and in the tri-state area, people like festivals. We were looking to bring the community together, have fun, and raise some cash in the process.”
With those goals in mind, the East Dubuque Wingfest was born.
