We have certainly been blessed here in Dubuque with access to quality health care. It is an essential part of any thriving community. In this issue’s Community Health Report, Julien’s Journal administers a literary EKG and examines the heartbeat of our local health care institutions. We will explore how our local and regional hospitals are investing in immunotherapy in the treatment of cancer, oncology rehabilitation at any stage of the cancer journey, and that there is an increased demand for cancer services and care.
We will discuss how the health care model is changing and how Population Health Management is devoted to improving the quality of care patients receive. And for those unfamiliar with Crescent Community Health Center, we discuss how it provides respectful and affordable medical and dental care to improve the health and well-being of our community. We will also examine the changing ways we look at mental health. There is no time to waste in the waiting room, just turn the page and have a good read.
