And so goes the song by Jerry Herman first performed by Angela Lansbury over 50 years ago. It paints a perfect picture of Christmas in Galena, recently named the Prettiest Town in Illinois by Architectural Digest. The pretty little town is now decked out in its holiday splendor!
On December 15, the public is invited to take a peek inside some of the most luxurious bed and breakfasts in the country. Step back in time, slow down the hectic pace that often accompanies the holiday season, and enjoy Galena’s Mistletoe Stroll Holiday House Tour. Now in its fifth year, seven lovely inns will open their doors that Saturday afternoon from 1:00-4:00. Tour the parlors and dining rooms adorned for the season, enjoy some holiday treats and perhaps pick up a recipe or two.
