McCullough Creative, Inc. is proud to announce its inaugural Student Mentorship Program in collaboration with the American Advertising Federation of Dubuque (AAF Dubuque) and local colleges.
Every year, AAF Dubuque selects a local nonprofit to assist with its marketing and advertising needs. For the first time, local design, communications, marketing, public relations, and related students will have the opportunity to mentor under the professionals at McCullough Creative to produce the work. Students will prepare their resumes and portfolios and attend interviews for a variety of open positions, including creative director, PR/marketing/social media strategist, copywriter, videographer, and more. The selected team will then meet with the nonprofit and professionals at McCullough Creative to execute the project from start to finish and better understand how their skills can be applied in the modern marketplace.
This year’s selected nonprofit is the Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, which has the goal of increasing memberships and event bookings, particularly among people ages 20–35.
