Dr. Christopher Healey is a Dubuque native who received his medical degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, IA and recently completed his residency at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Dr. Kelly McGuire will offer complete obstetrical care for high risk and normal pregnancies, routine health services including annual examinations and PAP testing and birth control counseling. She will also provide the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions affecting the female reproductive system, including infertility. Dr. McGuire received her medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Parker, CO and performed her residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center, Akron, OH. Dr. McGuire is located at the West Campus at Medical Associates.
Medical Associates is pleased to announce the arrival of M. Ovais Peracha, MD, to the Retina Service of the Department of Ophthalmology. Peracha earned his medical degree at Wayne State University, School of Medicine, Detroit, MI and performed his residency at Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, MI. Dr. Peracha is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. He will specialize in treating vitreoretinal disease, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular disease.

Dr. Mortensen received his medical degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health, Madison, WI and performed his residency at the University of Louisville, Department of Surgery, Louisville, KY. Dr. Mortensen is a Wisconsin native who recently completed a Hepatobiliary/Pancreas/ERCP fellowship at the University of Louisville. He joins the team of expert surgeons located at the East Campus.
