Thirty-five years ago, in much the same manner as two pilots heading into the night sky, guided, but ultimately relying on faith and instinct – husband and wife Doug Donald and Lenore Howard launched a new community theater group in Dubuque. Its goal was “to foster diverse theatrical opportunities for artists and audiences alike.” This theater group – Fly By Night Productions (FBNP) – has come to be known in the tri-state area for taking challenging material that has rarely been seen and presenting it in new and unique ways.
