
As you may or may not know, a foundry is a factory that makes metal castings. This process involves melting metals into a liquid, pouring the liquid into a mold, and removing the mold material after the metal has solidified. Sometimes, if whatever is being molded is genius enough that you don’t want anyone else to copy it, you “break the mold.” This is exactly what is happening at the new eating and drinking establishments at 333 10th St. in Dubuque.
