Colt Cadets Begin 52nd Season

The Colt Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps have begun their 2018 season.

The Colt Cadets are available to any young person in middle school or high school with or without prior experience on a musical instrument or experience with dance or color guard. There are no formal auditions for the Colt Cadets and the organization provides all equipment for students of any experience level.

Colt Cadets will teach beginners new skills, while providing new challenges and opportunities for experienced performers. Membership is open to anyone with a desire to be great!

The Colt Cadets were founded in 1967 and have been Drum Corps International Open Class Finalists in five of the past seven seasons. In 2018, the Colt Cadets embark on their 52nd season with over 20 performances in seven states throughout the Midwest, including the first ever Drum Corps International Midwestern Championships held in The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, MO. The Colt Cadets will finish their season in August at the Drum Corps International World Championships in Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN (home of the Indianapolis Colts).
