The Northeast Region of the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council is hosting the fifth annual Family STEM Festival for families in the Dubuque area. Over 50 fun, free, interactive activities are planned for this hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics event held at the Chlapaty Recreation & Wellness Center on the campus of the University of Dubuque. The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22 and continues until 2:00 that afternoon. STEM activities, games, and experiments are being provided by non-profit and government organizations, colleges and universities, and businesses throughout the state of Iowa. Over 1,300 people are expected to attend.
