Iowa Clean Air Attainment Program – Assistance for transportation projects resulting in attaining or maintaining National Ambient Air Quality Standards. Due date for applying is December 1, 2016
Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) – Provides funding for programs and projects defined as transportation alternatives, including on- and off-road pedestrian and bicycle facilities, infrastructure projects for improving non-driver access to public transportation and enhanced mobility, community improvement activities, and environmental mitigation such as recreational trail program projects, safe routes to school projects, and projects for the planning, design or construction of boulevards and other roadways largely in the right-of-way of former Interstate System routes or other divided highways. Due date for applying is December 1, 2016.
Farm to School Grant Program – The purpose of the USDA Farm to School Grant Program is to assist eligible entities in implementing farm to school programs that improve access to local foods in eligible schools. On an annual basis, USDA awards up to $5 million in competitive grants for training, supporting operations, planning, purchasing equipment, developing school gardens, developing partnerships, and implementing farm to school programs. Due date for applying is December 8, 2016.
Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque – Community impact grant funds will be granted to nonprofit organizations focusing on strong nonprofits, thriving families, and vibrant culture. The maximum grant award is $7,500. Due date for applying is December 31, 2016.
Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) – The Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) program was created to assist projects that will provide recreational, cultural, entertainment, and educational attractions. Projects must be available to the general public for public use and be primarily vertical infrastructure. Due date for applying is January 15, 2017.
River Enhancement CAT Grant (RECAT) – Funding for projects that improve recreation opportunities on or near rivers and lakes within cities. Due date for applying is January15, 2017.
