Sainci Elected to Iowa Recycling Association Board

City of Dubuque Resource Management Coordinator and Supervisor Anderson Sainci was elected to the Iowa Recycling Association Board of Directors at the association’s annual board meeting in Davenport last week.

Sainci has served as resource management coordinator and supervisor in the City of Dubuque Public Works Department since August 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and a Master of Arts degree in communication, both from the University of Dubuque.

Sainci’s prior experience includes serving as an intern for the City of Dubuque in various capacities, including work in the information services, economic development, and public works departments. He also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA for the Sustainable Dubuque initiative. Sainci serves on the boards of directors for the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service, Dubuque Dream Center, St. Mark Youth Enrichment, Every Child Every Promise, and Radius Church.

The Iowa Recycling Association is a membership-based, nonprofit organization serving as the voice of recycling in Iowa since 1989. The association provides information and education to industry professionals, policy makers, and the general public.
