Every Child/Every Promise (ECEP), which works in strategic alliance with the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, announced a campaign to build its endowment that will provide enduring support for its work to help all young people succeed in school, a career and our community.
The campaign helps celebrate a decade of ECEP supporting collaboration in the community and driving systems change to deliver the Five Promises (caring adults, safe places, a healthy start, an effective education, and opportunities to serve) to youth in our community.
Throughout the past ten years, ECEP has made a difference by increasing collaboration among organizations to remove barriers to success; providing data and information to develop consensus around a shared agenda; advocating for effective policies, practices and systems; and attracting resources to support the organizations in the community that work to help all young people succeed.
ECEP has convened partners and shared data, best-practices and resources around issues affecting young people that has led to strong efforts in the areas of third grade reading proficiency through the Dubuque Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and out-of-school time including after-school and summer initiatives.
The long-term support an endowment provides will allow ECEP to continue to support a network of organizations and individuals working together to help all young people in Dubuque succeed.
