Jeffrey Oberhoffer has become a Walter Zeller Fellow of Kiwanis International. This prestigious achievement is recognition of his tireless volunteer efforts for the Kiwanis Club of Dubuque, a service club that follows the Kiwanis International theme of “Young Children – Priority One.”
Oberhoffer has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Dubuque for over 16 years. During this time, he has served in various leadership roles in the club as its President, Vice-President, Board member, and the Division 15 Lt. Governor.
In 1940, Walter Zeller made the first donation of 25 Canadian silver dollars to the newly established Kiwanis International Foundation. His hope was to build the foundation’s “nest egg” and this dream came true. The Foundation, which supports The Eliminate Project, to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus, has grown to a multi-million dollar organization.
