On April 7, 2016, nationally-recognized Technori will host an event in Dubuque, IA showcasing some of the State’s most innovative and promising startups at Hotel Julien’s Grand Ballroom from 6:00-9:00 p.m. www.technori.com/dubuque/
In TEDtalk style, Technori Dubuque will feature five newly launched Iowa startups in front of hundreds of members of the startup and entrepreneurial community offering a powerful stage for them to present their ideas and market their new businesses. The live presentations will be recorded for webcast to national and international audiences on the Technori website www.technori.com.
Jake Schneider, president and CEO, of Cartegraph, will keynote the one-hour event. The five juried startup presentations will feature Atmo (Dubuque, IA), MadFish Farms (Dyersville, IA), MicroGirl Organics (Dubuque, IA), HowFactory (Cedar Falls, IA), and SwineTech (New Sharon, IA). Each company will have five minutes to describe their innovative business models or products, followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
Startup participants will: present their idea and market their product, gain traction and jump start their investment in the tri-states region, shine a spotlight on what is happening in Iowa and the tri-states region.
Individuals will participate in order to: network with the startup community, gain insights and best practices for their own startup, be on the pulse of innovation in our community, be a part of the first ever Technori event in Dubuque as a hub for entrepreneurial development.
