United Way Awarded $35,000 to Expand Volunteer Services

The Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service (ICVS) has awarded United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States $35,000 for expansion of volunteer services to include Allamakee, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, and Jackson counties.

The grant will permit United Way to provide stronger volunteer support services to residents and nonprofits in the identified counties. It will provide a platform for residents to more readily find opportunities to serve, and it will enable businesses to more easily manage their employee volunteer hours and accomplish corporate social responsibility initiatives.
