The Iowa Association of Community College Trustees (IACCT) has honored Wendy Mihm-Herold, Ph.D., Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) vice president of Business and Community Solutions, with the 2015 Iowa Outstanding Administrator/Manager Award. The NICC vice president accepted the award at the IACCT Annual Conference in Ottumwa on July 23.
As vice president of NICC Business and Community Solutions, Mihm-Herold and her team serve the economic development, business and industry training, and continuing education needs for community members throughout northeast Iowa. Mihm-Herold has contributed to the learning and growth of these individuals and businesses NICC serves.

Mihm-Herold has more than 25 years of experience as an executive officer in public and private nonprofit sectors. She has extensive experience in fundraising, grant writing and administration, legislative advocacy, and building innovative partnerships and public relations. At NICC, Mihm-Herold has been integral to the implementation and success of 11 grants totaling more than $26.3 million.
Wendy and husband, Alvin, live in Fort Atkinson with their sons, Mitchell and Jacob.
