UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital congratulates Cindy Mathew on her new role as Program Director in Finley’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU). Mathew started her nursing career as a private family nurse and joined the Finley Hospital team in 2011. As a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN), Mathew provided nursing care and education to patients in ARU. In addition, she acted as charge nurse and worked with the ARU Clinical Liaison as well as clinics, internal hospital units and other hospitals to arrange for patient admissions to Finley’s ARU.
UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital also welcomes as Executive Director of Strategic Improvement and Planning. Harms has worked within the UnityPoint Health system since 2004. She began her career with Allen Hospital in Waterloo as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and has since held positions consisting of Clinical Data Analyst, Senior Decision Support Analyst, Manager Business Operations and Manager Strategic Analytics. Her most recent role at UnityPoint Health was in corporate services as Assistant Director of Strategic Analytics where she led a team of analysts responsible for clinical and statistical analysis, analytics platform architecture and development, data governance, and customer engagement.
Sarah Hasken joined UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital as Regional Director of Operations for the Organized System of Care. Prior to joining Finley, Hasken served several roles at A.Y. McDonald Industries Inc. and its subsidiaries. Hasken started her career as Credit Manager for the wholesale distribution company, then served in various management roles and most recently as vice president and corporate secretary. For twelve years, Hasken provided senior leadership for A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. in the areas of administration and risk management with oversight in areas such as legal affairs, corporate compliance and governance, enterprise risk management, and more. Hasken currently serves on the board of directors for the following statewide organizations: Iowa Association of Business and Industry (Past Chair) and the Iowa Innovation Corporation (Chair, May 2015). Locally, she serves on the Dubuque Historical Society National River Museum and Every Child Every Promise boards.
